Auto Shanghai 2009 is organized by China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shanghai Sub-Council and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Automotive Sub-Council, co-organized by Shanghai International Exhibition Co Ltd and MMG-Messe Muenchen International/IMAG-International Messe-und Ausstellungsdienst GmbH, Specially Supported by China Machinery Industry Federation, Supported by The Society of Automotive Engineers of China (SAE China).
Auto Shanghai 2009 will preempt the whole 11 indoor exhibition halls and outdoor temporary venue of Shanghai New International Exhibition Center with a total exhibition scale of 170,000 square meters. Regarding the setting of the schedule, the organizer would make April 20th and 21st 2 days as the media day available only to domestic and overseas media, which aims at facilitating the reports and journalists to report the Auto Shanghai in a comprehensive way and to conduct the interview in a detailed and unfeigned way. April 22nd to 28th are exhibiting day.
The theme of Auto Shanghai 2009 is ‘Art of Innovation’. One of the fiercest challenges we face in 21st century is the global climate changing. The environment is certainly influenced by the rapid development of automobile industry. However such an industry with 100 year long science and technology accumulation will keep creating new technology such as development and promotion of new energy and hybrid power, and the application of energy saving and emission reduction as well, by this way the automobile and latest technology are perfect combined. Auto Shanghai 2009 is expected to not only showing newest automobile and technology, but also innovating the exhibiting design, facility and method, to cultivate an artistic and harmonious atmosphere, within which the visitors and reporters could enjoy automobiles---the perfect art product under the exhibition hall roof, and feel the strength and culture foundation of automobile manufacturers.
The organizers and the co-organizers are going to inheritance the people oriented service standard and innovating and shaping its own character when the show is beginning its 13th pre-organization, which will make the show one of the most ideal and most important show and trading platforms.
